Japanese is Going to Be a Problem

I can already tell. There is no eBay Japan, and my previous biggest lead for Japanese cards apparently has no interest in participating this time around. I sent out 3 feelers on eBay for Japanese, and also 8 feelers on MOTL (to members living in Japan). I sent out a dozen feelers on eBay.es (Spain) this morning. So far the responses have all been duds, but hope springs eternal, and there's always Mexico if Spain doesn't pan out.

All of the Japanese feelers resulted in negative or null responses. Nothing I would call a weak lead, although a friend of mine has a friend of a friend who lives in Japan, and he said he would try to get me some help that way. Hopefully something will come of that.
The Spanish feelers have also come up empty. :-( Although this morning I became aware of a Spain-based global set collector so I contacted him. Hopefully something will come of that. The Mexican eBay (Mercado Libre) had a positively dismal selection of MTG auctions (<50) so I don't think looking there is worthwhile. Clearly, Spanish is going to be a problem too. Trackbacks
