From 25 to 18, like that! Very impressive. I sent off a pile a (too good) stuff to a certain unnamed Brazilian trader. He's sending back a flotilla of Portugi goodness. That'll bring me over the 50 mark, easily.

I went to the local shop recently to buy up bulk SR's for Dan Barnard, who'd also going to help me out. The guy refused to even show me Portal binders( "I collect those.") He refused to show me anything older than Revised, ("I collect those.") Yeah right. He sells cards at half-high Scrye and knew I'd walk out with cards I wanted for less than he wanted me to pay. I did get about 40 randoms to send off to Dan though.

Rosewater previewed Coldsnap today with a Q&A section. AND I QUOTE:
Q. Will there be theme decks?
A. Yes. Boosters, theme decks, a Fat Pack – we're pulling out all the stops. And as this is the third set in the Ice Age block (you know, the “lost” one), the theme decks will include a few cards from the first two sets of the block. For those cards we will be updating them to the new card frames (since Coldsnap uses the new card frames), but we will be keeping their original art.

Dun dun DUNNNN! Could be more Stone Rains. Can cards in pre-cons be foil? That's confusing. Also mentioned in the Q&A: English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Chinese. Could be 0. Could be 9. Could be 18.

Exactly what I thought about Balduvian Bears when they first announced the set. As for foils, the only foils they've ever put in precons have been basic lands as far as I know. Though now that you've pointed out that they're going to be printed in all the languages of course, it's a bit more intimidating. :\
