  • The first artwork showed stones falling down and to the right. Evidently this started a trend... 6 of the 11 illustrations show stones falling down and to the right. Three of the illustrations show stones falling straight down (Thompson - Masques, Chaffee - Portal Second Age, and Sagiri - Portal Three Kingdoms). Only two illustrations show stones falling down to the left: John Matson's which first appeared in Portal, and Greg Staples's new illustration for Champions of Kamigawa.
